Ari Herbert is a skilled litigator with experience in federal and state courts across the country.

Mr. Herbert has argued dispositive and preliminary-injunction motions, deposed key witnesses and experts, prepared co-counsel for arguments in the Supreme Court of the United States and the Fifth Circuit, run large-scale discovery projects, and been principal author for dozens of major motions and appellate briefs.

Previously, Mr. Herbert served as Assistant General Counsel to Texas Governor Greg Abbott, where he directed the Governor’s litigation strategy and provided in-house counsel on regulatory issues. He also served in the Special Litigation Division of the Texas Attorney General’s Office, where he litigated the state’s mission-critical trial matters. Before that, he practiced commercial litigation at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP.

Mr. Herbert clerked for Judge Don R. Willett on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
